Sofia Milonas is a New York based visual artist.

Sofia was raised in Queens and recently graduated from New York University with a BFA in Photography & Imaging. Sofia’s work focuses on subverting the heteronormative gaze with influences from Robert McRuer’s Crip Theory. Her work also explores the privilege of having a family archive and how lineage is fragmented and reformed by immigration.
